Sources and verification
Every factual claim on this site traces back to one of these pages, or to the Steam listing itself.
Rules for facts
- No number without a source. Prices, dates, player counts and review shares come from the store page or the publisher, with a link.
- No invented quotes. If a developer did not say it, it is not in quotation marks.
- Reported is not confirmed. Launch coverage is labelled as reporting; official copy is labelled as official.
- Estimates are marked. If something is inferred from the loop rather than stated, the page says so.
- Dated numbers stay dated. A figure from launch week is presented as a snapshot, not a live counter.
What we cannot verify
Faction names, the full specialization roster, rent formulas, drop rates and ending conditions are not published in official material. This guide either leaves them out or marks them as unconfirmed. If a competing page states them with confidence and no source, that page is guessing or data-mining, and neither is the same as documentation.
The roster is the clearest example. Twelve rows are visible, three are locked as Work In Progress, two more are hidden in the files, and nine are playable. A page that lists twelve playable starts is reading the menu, not the build.
The figures most often quoted
The tinyBuild launch press release of 28 October 2026 reports over 500,000 wishlists, a Steam Next Fest peak of nearly 40,000 concurrent players, over 660,000 unique demo players, and Overwhelmingly Positive reviews at 98 percent for the demo. All four describe the demo period and are presented here with that date attached.
Those are not live numbers and they are not the released game’s review score. The Steam store page carries its own summary; on 29 October 2026 it read Overwhelmingly Positive from 1,688 reviews at 96 percent. Treat both as timestamps.
Reporting an error
Send the page URL and the correct fact to hello@probablystolen.games. A correction is applied to the page and the review date is updated. If the claim cannot be verified, it is removed.
